Certificate in Business Management
Series of Business Certificate designed to allow graduates to enhance their knowledge of business theory as well as sharpen their skill set within their specific area of interest. Student follows one of 4 tracks - Management, Marketing, International Business, or Corporate Finance. Each track will consist of: 1. Core Courses - a series of two (2) courses which provide a foundation in “business essentials” and will apply to all tracks; and 2. Track-specific electives - a series of four (4) courses which provide targeted skill development based on best practices across the various business functional disciplines. Six courses to be completed in six months or less.

The Management Certificate covers concepts and theories in areas such as operations management, international management and quality management/six sigma. Graduates will be better prepared to manage complex organizations and adapt to the market environment they operate in while facilitating continuous process improvement and innovation.

The Marketing Certificate addresses the art and discipline behind using promotional levers, consumer behavior and market research to drive profitable growth. Graduates will acquire the cognitive approach needed to recognize market trends, analyze data, create effective marketing strategies and guide implementation as a vehicle for acquiring and attaining customers.

The International Business Certificate will focus on strategic decision making in today’s global market place by providing a theoretical and practical foundation in the principles of business administration as practiced in a multinational setting.

The Corporate Finance Certificate covers topical areas such as financial statement analysis, risk and return, capital budgeting and ROI-based decision-making. Students who complete this track will have a solid understanding of the controls and processes that drive effective financial performance and management evaluation/strategy.
