Open Doors to New Health Care Jobs
     With a Specialized Certificate.

Certificate in Medical Transcription

Using computers and industry-specific software, students apply proper format, grammar, punctuation, proofreading and usage of medical language while transcribing dictation into a variety of medical reports. Medical transcriptionists work in hospitals, clinics, physician offices, transcription services, insurance companies, home healthcare agencies, and other locations where dictation for the purpose of healthcare documentation requires transcription. Many MTs work from their homes as independent contractors, subcontractors, or home-based employees. The KCE Medical Transcription Certificate will provide entry level training in medical transcription. Six courses to be completed in six months or less.
