Cisco Certified Design Professional Certificate
The Cisco Certified Design Professional Certificate program is ideally suited for IT professionals already working in IT who desire the skills and knowledge necessary to design as well as implement complex networks.
To enroll in the certificate program:
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Three years of experience with Cisco equipment and LAN, WAN, and wireless networking is recommended.
• Valid CCNA and CCDA certifications are required.
The Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) Certificate provides students with sophisticated knowledge of Cisco network design. The program is designed to help students prepare for CCDP certification, a mid-level professional certification for network design professionals.
The CCDP indicates advanced journeyman knowledge of intelligent network design concepts and principles. A CCDP credentialed network professional may discuss, design, and create advanced addressing and routing, security, network management, data center, and IP multicast.
